my dog walking job
Hi friends, this past September I volunteered at an animal shelter called BARC (Brooklyn Animal Rescue Coalition) in Williamsburg. At first they said I was too young to volunteer because all they had were big aggressive dogs. Hard to handle for a girl like me, I don't think so! They must not know who I am!!! It turns out that most shelter dogs are
not that good with children! great.just great.(sarcasm.)
not that good with children! great.just great.(sarcasm.)So after some arguing by my mom and crying by me. My mom talked to the mom in charge. She was the manager she went inside and came back out with a fluffy small dog. A Shih tzu! Even though this is not my favorite type of dog, he was a cutie. By the way this breed originated in China.
His name was Archie he was an OLD DOG, he had bladder problems!! Think about that! He would lift his leg up(not trying to be disturbing) and nothing would come out!
My Mom told me to put that. She said people would think it was interesting! I did not think it would be interesting but I gotta listen to my momma!!
It was a lot of fun to walk Archie and I can't wait till the day i get to walk my own dog. I hope it comes soon. if you like dogs you should volunteer at your local shelter.
Bye. Thanks for reading.
